The Amazon Firestick is the most popular way to watch CatchON TV on a regular television. This guide covers every Fire TV Stick model, including the Lite and the 4K Max, and takes about 8 minutes from start to first channel.

New to Downloader? Follow Steps 1 and 2 below to allow unknown apps and install Downloader first.

Choosing an app? Compare the top players in our best IPTV for Firestick guide.

Amazon does not list most IPTV players in its own app store, so the setup has one extra step compared with a phone: you allow apps from outside the store, then use the free Downloader app to install your player. It sounds technical, but you only do it once.

What You Need

  • A Fire TV Stick or Fire TV device connected to the internet
  • Your CatchON TV login email (username, password and server URL)
  • The remote, and about 8 minutes

No login yet? Pick a plan on the CatchON TV pricing page and your details arrive by email within minutes.

Step 3: Install Your IPTV Player

We recommend IPTV Smarters Pro for beginners and TiviMate if you want a TV-style programme guide. Both work well on every Firestick.

  1. Enter the download addressIn Downloader, type the official download link of your chosen player, or the link or code included in your CatchON TV welcome email.
  2. Install the playerWhen the file finishes downloading, select Install, then Done. Downloader offers to delete the installer file; you can delete it to save space.

  2. Choose Xtream CodesSelect the Xtream Codes or Xtream API login option and enter your username, password and server URL exactly as they appear in your email.
  3. Wait for the first loadThe first sign-in downloads your channel list, movies, series and TV guide. This can take a minute or two. After that, the player opens straight to your channels.

Fixing Common Firestick Problems

The picture buffers or freezes

Firesticks are small and often sit behind the TV, far from the router. If live sport stutters, try an Amazon Ethernet adapter or move the router closer. Restarting the stick (hold select and play for five seconds) also clears its memory.

Authorization failed

This almost always means a typing mistake. Check that the server URL starts with http://, includes the port number and has no space at the end. Usernames and passwords are case sensitive.

The TV guide is empty

The guide loads separately from the channels. Give it a few minutes after the first sign-in, then refresh the EPG from the player settings. More fixes are in our troubleshooting guide.

Can I Use CatchON TV on More Than One Firestick?

Yes. Install the player on each device and use the same login. How many can watch at the same time depends on your plan, from 1 to 5 screens. See multi-device plans or read the FAQ for details.
