How to Set Up CatchON TV on IPTV Smarters Pro

  1. Open the app and accept the termsOn first launch, the app asks you to accept its terms and pick a layout. Choose TV for a television and Mobile for a phone.
  2. Tap Add New UserThen choose Login with Xtream Codes API. This option loads live TV, movies, series and the guide together.
  3. Fill in the four fieldsAny Name: type CatchON TV. Username and Password: from your welcome email. URL: the server address from the same email, including http:// and the port.
  4. Tap Add UserThe app checks your details and downloads your content. Wait for the progress bar to finish.
  5. Start watchingOpen Live TV, pick a category on the left and a channel on the right. Movies and Series work the same way.

Tip: after the first load, open Settings then EPG and tap Refresh. This fills the TV guide and the now-and-next info on each channel.

Useful Features

  • Favourites: long-press a channel to add it to your favourites list for quick access.
  • Multi-screen: on TVs and tablets, watch up to four channels at once. Each stream counts towards your connection limit.
  • Parental control: lock adult or specific categories with a PIN in Settings.
  • External player: if a channel stutters, set VLC or MX Player as the player in Settings.

Troubleshooting IPTV Smarters Pro

Invalid username or password

Re-enter the details by copying from the email. Remove any space at the end of each field.

The app loads but channels do not play

Switch the player in Settings between the built-in player and VLC, then try again. Also check that you are not over your plan’s screen limit.

The guide shows no information

Refresh the EPG as described above and allow a few minutes. More fixes are in the troubleshooting guide.
