CatchON TV on IBO Player Pro

IBO Player Pro is the simplest way to watch CatchON TV directly on a Samsung or LG Smart TV, with no stick or box plugged in. You install it from the TV store and add your playlist from your phone. Setup takes about 4 minutes.

How IBO Player Pro Works

Typing a long login with a TV remote is slow, so IBO Player Pro does it differently. The app shows two codes on screen: a MAC address and a device key. You enter those codes on the IBO Player website from your phone or computer, add your CatchON TV playlist there, and the TV picks it up automatically.

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Install the appOn Samsung, open Apps. On LG, open the LG Content Store. Search for IBO Player Pro and install it.
  2. Note your MAC address and device keyOpen the app. Both codes appear on the first screen. Take a photo with your phone so you have them handy.
  3. Open the IBO Player websiteOn your phone or computer, go to the official IBO Player website and open the playlist management page.
  4. Log in with your codesEnter the MAC address and device key exactly as shown on the TV.
  5. Add your CatchON TV playlistChoose Add playlist. Give it a name, such as CatchON TV, and paste either your M3U link or your Xtream Codes details from your welcome email. Save it.
  6. Restart the app on the TVClose IBO Player Pro and open it again. Select the CatchON TV playlist to load live TV, movies and series.

Good to know: IBO Player Pro offers a free trial and then asks for a one-time activation, paid to the app developer on their website. It is separate from your CatchON TV subscription and covers that TV for the life of the app licence.

Tips for Samsung and LG TVs

  • Use the colour buttons: on most remotes, the coloured buttons open search, favourites and the guide inside the app.
  • Plug in Ethernet: TV Wi-Fi is often weaker than a phone’s. A cable makes live sport much smoother.
  • Keep the TV updated: install system updates from the TV settings menu so the app keeps working well.

Troubleshooting IBO Player Pro

The playlist does not appear

Check that you used the MAC address shown on this TV, not an old one. Restart the app after saving the playlist.

Playlist error or no channels

Re-check the M3U link or server URL for a missing character. Copy and paste instead of typing.

No app in my TV store
